We’re currently seeking committed and experienced Children and Young Persons Support Workers to join our team, supporting children and young people (up to 18 years old) with mental health, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll be central to creating positive outcomes for the children and young people you work with:

  • Deliver personalised care and emotional support tailored to each young person
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Respond to challenging behaviours using calm, therapeutic approaches
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
  • Follow care plans and actively contribute to their ongoing development
  • Support with appointments, education, and leisure activities
  • Keep accurate records and ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 6–12 months of paid UK experience in a similar support role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
  • A caring, compassionate, and patient nature
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts including weekends
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce)
